You’re not stuck. You’re leveling up
This mindset changed everything. Hashem sees your growth—even when you don’t.
Welcome back to Living the Dream!
If you’re not subscribed yet, what are you waiting for?
Here’s something I’ve been thinking about for years. It’s deeper than I can fully explain in one message, but I want to give you a glimpse of it:
We want things now.
Not just fast—instant.
Microwaves used to feel like magic. A whole meal in minutes? Incredible.
Now, even a few minutes feels too long.
Google penalizes websites that load a fraction of a second too slowly.
We get frustrated if our WiFi stutters for two seconds.
We used to be thrilled to get a package in two weeks. Now, if Prime 2-day shipping feels too slow, we want same-day—or faster.
And it’s not just stuff.
We want growth that’s instant.
If we don’t see change right away, we assume it’s not working.
But that’s not how real change happens.
You don’t transform overnight.
Every workout… every bracha… every effort you make—it all matters.
But it takes time.
And that time often feels invisible.
Sometimes you’re growing the most when you feel it the least.
Sometimes the level-up is happening in the fog.
I’m not talking about becoming someone you’re not.
I’m talking about becoming more you.
The deeper, more refined, more alive version of you Hashem created you to become.
And that doesn’t happen in a week, or even a year.
It happens slowly. Quietly. Over a lifetime.
So look at where you are today.
Where were you a few years ago?
Where do you want to be?
Keep showing up. Keep trying.
And if you do, one day you’ll look back and say,
“I don’t even recognize who I used to be.”
🟢 That’s what this week’s article is about.
I hope it gives you strength and clarity to keep climbing—even when it feels like nothing is changing.
In other news: Habitachon is growing—and changing lives.
We’re up to Lesson #52, and here’s just a glimpse of what people are saying:
"I love how this is written."
"Short. On point. Amazing."
"It’s the perfect daily reminder to help me focus on Hashem."
"I love reading it after davening."
"It adds so much meaning to my day."
"It’s fantastic—and it lifts me up exactly when I need it."
There’s a reason it’s growing.
People are craving clarity, calm, and real trust in Hashem.
And you can help bring it to them.
If you’re not part of it yet, join Habitachon.
If you are—share it.
Forward it. Tell a friend. Post it in your WhatsApp groups.
Let’s bring more bitachon into the world.
Together, we can change the world—one person, one day, one message at a time.

The Growth You Can’t See But Hashem Can

Most of us think we’re stuck.
We don’t see change. We don’t feel growth.
We’re doing the same things, facing the same struggles… and wondering:
“Am I even moving forward?”
But Hashem sees something you don’t:
You’re not stuck. You’re leveling up.
Growing up with my siblings, I never noticed myself getting taller.
None of us did. We were too close to it. It was just another day, another week, another hand-me-down that didn’t fit anymore.
But I had an out of town aunt that every time we would see her, like clockwork:
“Wow… I can’t believe how much you’ve grown.”
That moment always stuck with me.
Because that’s exactly how it is with spiritual growth.
You don’t notice it in real time.
Not day to day.
But when you zoom out—when you look back—you realize you’ve become a completely different person.
Time Isn’t Linear — It’s a Spiral Staircase
Most people think life is a straight line. You move forward (or fall behind).
No matter what you do.
But that’s not how Hashem created the world.
In Torah, time is cyclical.
We go around the year—back to the same dates, the same holidays, the same tefillot—but we’re not just looping. We’re ascending. Like a spiral staircase.
We don’t just remember Pesach—we re-enter it.
We don’t just celebrate our birthday—it’s the same spiritual energy of the day Hashem said, “The world can’t exist without you.”
Every year, every day, every moment… is another opportunity to level up.
It’s Not the Same Test — Because You’re Not the Same You
Ever feel like you keep facing the same challenge?
The same financial stress.
The same trigger in a relationship.
The same emotional roadblock.
And you think, “Why does this keep happening to me?”
Here’s the truth:
It’s not the same test.
You’re not going in circles. You’re in the same place, but one level higher.
Hashem is giving you a retake. A chance to show how much you’ve grown.
Just like in a video game—you face the same “boss” again and again, but every time, you're stronger. Better equipped. Wiser.
My Bitachon Journey (And Why I Needed It)
People ask me all the time:
“What’s the difference between emuna and bitachon?”
I always say:
Emuna is knowing Hashem runs the world, and that everything He does is for the absolute best.
Bitachon is living like you believe it.
It’s the difference between knowing junk food is bad for you—and actually choosing not to eat it.
It’s the difference between saying “Hashem will take care of me”… and actually sleeping peacefully at night when nothing makes sense.
Bitachon isn’t a feeling.
It’s a choice you make over and over.
Especially when it’s hard.
Here's a mashal I love:
Imagine doing a trust fall.
Emuna is being willing to fall.
Bitachon is falling without flinching—because you know Hashem will catch you.
I didn’t always live with bitachon.
There were times I felt overwhelmed. Trapped. Anxious. Even depressed.
I believed in Hashem—I really did—but I didn’t know how to live with that belief. I had some level of emuna… but my bitachon needed work.
So I started working on it.
And what’s wild is that I found myself facing the same situations again.
Same stress. Same unknowns.
But… something had shifted.
The anxiety was less. The fear was less.
I didn’t even notice it at first.
But each time I faced that challenge, I grew.
Even when I thought I was failing—I was leveling up.
Torah and Tefillah Are Tools for Transformation
We say the same tefillah three times a day.
We learn the same parsha every year.
We do chazara again and again.
It can feel repetitive. But it’s not.
Every tefillah, every pasuk, every Gemara—hits differently when you’re on a new level.
There’s a reason Rashi and Tosfot start four lines higher than the Gemara text. Chazal are telling us: it takes four times through before you even begin to grasp the gemara.
And they said it straight:
“One who reviews 100 times is not the same as one who reviews 101.” (Chagigah 9b)
Chazara isn’t about repetition.
It’s about transformation.
Same with davening. You’re saying the same words—but you’re not the same soul.
Each tefillah is whispered from a higher place than the last.
Even if you don’t feel it… Hashem sees it.
You Are Growing — Even If You Can’t See It
Have you ever watched a timelapse video of a plant growing?
In real life, you could stare at that plant all day and never notice anything changing.
But in timelapse, you see it clearly: every hour, every inch, every stretch toward the light.
That’s you.
You’re the plant.
And Hashem sees the timelapse.
You may think you’re stuck.
You may feel like nothing is changing.
But Hashem is watching your neshama unfold, moment by moment.
Take a Snapshot
Sometimes, the best thing you can do is take a mental snapshot of who you are right now.
Not just where you live or what your job is—but what you believe, how you handle pressure, what you’re struggling with.
Because in a year, five years, ten… you’re going to look back and say:
“I can’t believe I’m here.
I couldn’t even imagine this version of myself back then.”
I’ve lived it. I still live it.
And I know that the same will be true for my future.
Don’t Give Up — Just Keep Leveling Up
Pirkei Avot teaches:
"Lo alecha hamelacha ligmor, v’lo ata ben chorin l’hivatel mimena."
It’s not your job to finish the work.
But you’re not free to give up on it either.
Hashem doesn’t ask for perfection.
He asks for persistence.
So show up.
Daven again.
Learn again.
Choose emunah again.
Try again.
Because every time you do...
You’re leveling up.
Even if it feels like nothing’s changing.
Even if no one else sees it.
Even if you don’t see it.
Keep going.
Hashem sees it.
And your next level... is already loading.
We think we’re walking through fog—unsure if we’re going anywhere.
But from Hashem’s view, we’re climbing a spiral staircase.
One quiet step at a time.
Higher. Deeper. Stronger.
You may not see the view right now.
But one day, when you look back—
You’ll realize how high you’ve climbed.
🛠 Practical Tips: How to Level Up When It Feels Like You’re Going in Circles
🧠 Bitachon Reset Phrase
When you feel overwhelmed, say this out loud—slowly and with intention:
“Hashem sees my growth. I’m not stuck—I’m leveling up.”
Say it again. Let it sink in. This one phrase can shift your whole state.
📍 Zoom Out
Stuck in the same challenge again? Take 30 seconds and ask:
“How would the ‘me’ from 1 year ago have handled this?”
If you’re calmer, clearer, or quicker to turn to Hashem—you’ve grown.
🔁 Repeat with Awareness
Say the same bracha or pasuk as yesterday—but this time, pause for 2 seconds before and after. Remind yourself:
“I’m saying this from a higher place than I was yesterday.”
Same words. New level.
🎮 Name the Boss Level
When something triggers you or tests you, whisper to yourself:
“It’s the same boss… but I’m not the same player.”
You’re stronger now. More equipped. This challenge is here to prove it.
📸 Spiritual Snapshot
At the end of the week, jot down one thing you did this week that your past self wouldn’t have handled as well.
That’s what growth looks like.
🚀 Weekly Challenge: Take a Snapshot of Where You Are Today
This week, take 5 quiet minutes and do this:
📸 Take a snapshot of your inner world.
Ask yourself:
What am I struggling with right now?
What am I working on or trying to grow in?
Where do I feel stuck or unsure?
✍️ Write it down. Be real. No filters.
Then close the app, fold the paper, or tuck it away.
🗓 Set a reminder—30 days, 60 days, 90, or even next year.
Pick a time and drop it in your calendar:
“Open snapshot.”
You may want to start doing this every so often.
Because when you look back… you’ll see the hidden progress Hashem saw all along.
And that awareness? It will keep you going—especially on the days it feels tough.
